The meeting place for the Handshake community

HandyCon brings together builders, domain owners, infrastructure operators, founders, investors, advocates, and newcomers working on open internet naming.

Each annual conference has its own campaign and theme. The underlying HandyCon identity remains stable so the community can recognize the gathering across years, market cycles, and changing technical challenges.

Our identity

The Soft-Fork Gateway

The outer arch is an open gateway. Inside it, one path represents the established ICANN and DNS root. A second path branches forward as the open Handshake naming root while both remain visible.

It is a visual expression of Handshake as a soft fork of the internet: coexistence rather than erasure, an alternative route rather than a closed door, and a community that persists.
